Probe Football Federation’s finances - President’s Office

The President’s Office has written to the Sports Ministry Secretary Dr. Amal Harsha de Silva to carry out a formal investigation into the alleged financial irregularities at the Sri Lanka Football Federation and submit a detailed report before October 11.

According to a letter sent by former president of the federation Anura de Silva to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, it has been alleged that there have been financial irregularities in the Football Federation between 01.07.2022 and 15.09.2022.

Therefore, the Sports Ministry Secretary has been informed to investigate the alleged irregularities during the said period.
