Eleven injured in accident

Eleven persons were injured when a bus plying from Ambalangoda crashed into a lorry on the Expressway between Kurundugahahetekma and Baddegama Interchanges.

Police said that the lorry had been halted on the side of Expressway when the crashed occured. The eight injured have been admitted to the Karapitiya General Hospital while the rest were receiving treatment at the Elpitiya Base Hospital
