Imperial College of Business Studies (ICBS), one of the fastest growing education providers in Sri Lanka, held the ICBS Graduation 2022 at the BMICH where hundreds of students received their globally-recognized postgraduate degrees and diplomas.

One of the key highlights of the event was the official launch of the paperless digital graduation souvenir through a live QR scanning of the ICBS graduation 2022, making the event a key milestone as the first of its kind in ICBS history.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Guest of Honour Roshan Mahanama, the World Cup winning former national cricketer. Dr. Teresa Jacob, University of the West of Scotland (UWS), Tom Mannapurathu Joseph, Director Strategy ISDC India, together with Dr. M. Ganeshamoorthy, Academic Dean, Pravinth Rajaratnam, Director Academic and Sivabaskaran Shanmugam, Chairman and officials of ICBS.

Over hundred and thirty graduates in BA (Hons) in International Business and Finance, over thirty five graduates in BA International Business and Finance, over seventy five graduates in BA Global and over twelve Diploma holders for International Business and Finance were conferred by the University of the West of Scotland academia and ICBS academic staff members.

Additionally, over two hundred graduates who had completed their MBA in International Business, over 40 finance profession graduates in CIMA Finance Leadership Programme (CGMA – FLP) and a special recognition category of awards for ICBS student achievers with top performing achievers in business school sports were all felicitated.

While providing all students with a high quality higher education in Business and Finance, ICBS also provides them with modern facilities to venture beyond studies by engaging in various sports activities including Cricket, Rugby, Football, Badminton, Swimming, and Athletics. Students can also develop significant social and leadership skills through the ICBS Student Council which actively engages in projects on social care and responsibility. Those who possess a passion for literature can join the ICBS Reading & Writing Club which focuses on enhancing literacy skills, creative and business writing.

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is the most preferred Public University in Scotland and has four Campuses in Scotland and one in England. Through ICBS, Sri Lankan students get the opportunity to follow the most accredited Degree programme in the world, the BA (Hons) International Business & Finance, in affiliation with the UWS.
