Sri Lanka’s Dinara de Silva and Saajida Razick secured their quarter-final places at the ITF Junior Circuit Week-2 Tennis Tournament, which continued at the SLTA Courts in Green Path, Colombo yesterday.
Dinara put up a fine performance to beat Alix Rios of France 6-2, 6-2 while Saajida had the better of Silvia Caliman of Spain 6-2, 6-3 in the second round of the Girls’ Singles Tournament.
Over 120 competitors including 90 overseas tennis players from Kazakhstan, United Kingdom, Malaysia, India, New Zealand, China, France, Spain and many more European nations are vying for honours in the Boys' and Girls' Singles and Doubles.

Girls’ Singles (second round): Dinara de Silva (Sri Lanka) beat Alix Rios (France) 6-2, 6-2. Saajida Razick (Sri Lanka) beat Silvia Caliman (Spain) 6-2, 6-3.
