International Islamic Conference hosted by Saudi Arabia with 150 religious scholars

- Three religious scholars from Sri Lanka will participate

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Religious Affairs has arranged to hold an Islamic conference on the theme “Establishing contact with global Islamic institutions” on 12th & 13th August 2023.

This conference is going to be held in Makkah Mukarma. Saudi Arabia has invited 150 religious scholars from around 85 countries to attend the conference.

A number of research papers will be presented in this conference, which will be held in association with Islamic religious institutions around the world.

Three religious scholars from Sri Lanka have gone to Makkah to attend the conference.

In this conference, which will be held on the 12th and 13th, research papers will be submitted on topics such as the contribution of Islamic religious organizations to Islam and Muslims, the relationship between these organizations, giving up and coexistence, the need to understand the Qur’an and Hadith, the contributions of Islamic organizations in eliminating terrorism, and protecting the Muslim community from moral corruption.

The conference is organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Saudi Arabia under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The contribution of Islamic institutions and the contribution of religious scholars in solving the modern problems of the present time will also be examined in detail. Issues such as maintaining unity among Muslims and the experiences of Saudi Arabia in propagating Islam will also be explored in this conference.
