The inaugural cricket encounter between Kothalawala Defense Academy (KDU) Law Faculty and Sri Lanka Law College boys and girls teams concluded successfully recently and Yukthi Napanagoda’s KDU Law Faculty boys team recorded seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka Law College team.
Manith Ratwatte and Vice Captain Jayod Caldera put on a solid start adding 48 runs stand while skipper Yukthi Panagoda and Prasadika Gamage build up the innings with 54-run stand. Panagoda made a fluent half century (53 in 30 balls) to steer them to win. Panagoda was named Player of the Match and awarded an annual membership of Rs. 35, 000 from Fitness Kingdom. Meanwhile Sri Lanka Law College girls’ team won thrilling 1 wicket win over KDU Law Faculty in their match .
