President’s Senior Advisor on Climate Change, Ruwan Wijewardene, held a meeting with Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland KC in Nairobi during the sidelines of the Africa Climate Summit. Wijewardene was accompanied by Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner in Kenya Kana Kananathan.
Ruwan Wijewardene who represented the President in the climate summit conveyed the greetings and well-wishes of President Ranil Wickremesinghe to the Secretary General Patricia Scotland and reiterated Sri Lanka’s strong commitment to the principles and values upheld by the Commonwealth.
