The next program of the ‘Jayagamu Sri Lanka People’s Mobile Service’ organized by the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment to create a generation of smart Sri Lankan workers suitable for the new world of work associated with digitization held today at the Badulla Football Stadium and will be held tomorrow.
This island-wide ‘Jayagamu Sri Lanka’ program, which was started as a concept of the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara, has been successfully conducted in many districts of the island and the number of Sri Lankan job seekers and employed people who are benefiting from it is increasing day by day.
The grant for public welfare by the Migrant Workers Harasara, Garusaru, Smart Youth Club, and Shrama Vasana Fund organized concerning the scope of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment which is an affiliated institution is done in this work. The people of Badulla district will benefit from many services such as providing smart boards for schools and providing school equipment for children of low-income families.
Apart from that, Jayagamu Sri Lanka also provides awareness about the needs of the job market and refers low-income families and migrant worker families to enterprising activities.
All the institutions under the Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment are coming to the public under this program and it is a special feature that they can do the work that should have been done at the Colombo office within a short time from their respective villages.
