Despite adverse weather conditions, the Navy’s relief teams persisted in their operations on 07th June 2024, aiding those affected by the floods. Additionally, thirteen (13) more teams have been deployed to support ongoing relief efforts.

In their relief efforts, Navy teams safely rescued 316 flood victims, transported nearly 4,900 people by boat, and supplied cooked meals, dry food, and drinks to over 19,000 affected individuals.

Additionally, Navy relief teams are actively involved in cleaning drinking water wells in areas where floodwaters are receding.
