Vidyartha College scored their second win by beating hometown school Kingswood College by 50 points (five goals and three tries) to 13 (Two tries and a penalty) in a Division one group II game played at the Bogambara Stadium last evening. The Vidyartha College team started the game very fast and scored a try through Ishara Kumara and was goaled by Rusith Thamodya to take a 7-0 lead, and in a few minutes the Kingswood College put over a penalty t 7-3 . With some good work Vidyartha College scored their second try through Kavishka Watgodage to make it 12-3. And again Vidyartha College scored through skipper Gayan Perera to make it 19-3 and was goaled by Rusith Thamodya. With some good work Kingswood College scored a try to make the score 8 points against 19.
The first half score Vidyartha College two goals and a try against one try and a penalty 19-08. After the turn over Vidyartha College scored their fourth try to make the score 24-08. In this half Vidyartha College ruggerites took play into the Kingswood College half and scored a goal again to make it 31-08. In th4e second half the Vidyartha launched a vigorous attack and scored another goal to make it 38-08, and this is the second win for Vidyartha College . For the
winners three tries each by Gyan Perera and Ishara Kumara, and two by Kavishka Waltgodage and one from Kevin Keshan and the kicking part was done by Rusith Thamodya. For losers, W. G. S. Amarasooriya and . S. N. B. Samarakoon were the try scorers.

Today Saturday St. Sylvester’s College who went down to Ananda College in the first game will scrum down against Pilyandalla Central College at Bogambara Stadium in a Division one segment “B game. Both teams are evenly balanced and a good game of run and pass rugby is expected.
