St Peter’s College vs. Wesley College Defending champions St Peter’s College Bambalapitiya will host Wesley College today at their home ground in Bambalapitiya. The Peterites are on a winning streak, having dominated Thurstan College with a score of 112-0 and Kingswood College with a convincing 46-3 win in their previous matches.
They aim to maintain their momentum against the unbeaten Wesleyites, who secured victories over Zahira College (21-14) and Thurstan College (70 3) in their first two outings.
Royal College vs Zahira College
Royal College, also undefeated so far, will face Zahira College at Maradana. The boys from Reid Avenue displayed their expertise by defeating Kingswood College (60-5) and Vidyartha College (25-10) in their initial fixtures. Zahira College, in contrast, struggled against Wesley College
(14-21) and St Joseph’s College (26-28), making their encounter with Royal a challenging one.
Isipathana College vs. Dharmaraja College
Isipathana College, another unbeaten team, will host Dharmaraja College at Havelock Park. Isipathana’s victories over Sri Sumangala College (50 -3 ) and Science College (19-9) have bolstered their confidence. Dharmaraja College, having lost to DS Senanayake College (12-44) but secured a win against Sri Sumangala College (32-12), faces a tough test against the formidable Isipathanians.
St Joseph’s vs. Thurstan at Ratmalana
St Joseph’s College will play against Thurstan College at the Air Force grounds Ratmalana today.
St. Joseph’s College had a mixed start to the season. They lost their first match to Vidyartha College by a score of 27-22. However, they bounced back last week by defeating Zahira College 28-26.
Thurstan College, on the other hand, has struggled this season. They have lost both of their matches. St Peter’s College defeated them 112-0, and Wesley College beat them by 70-3.
