A tense situation was reported at the Kandy Court complex this morning following an anonymous call to the police emergency hotline (119) reporting a bomb threat (July 02).
Accordingly, the bomb disposal unit of Sri Lanka Army together with Sri Lanka Police, have commenced a special security operation within the court premises.
Accordingly, all the cases that were scheduled to be heard and the delivering of verdicts fixed for today have been postponed till July 16.
