The retail price of a Litro domestic LP Gas cylinder has been reduced from midnight yesterday (2)in accordance with the monthly price adjustment. Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris said the price of the 12.5 kg domestic LP Gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs.100 and the the new price stands at Rs.3,690. The price of 5 kg medium LP Gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs.40 to Rs. 1,482 whilst the price of the 2.3 kg LP Gas cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 18, bringing the new price to Rs. 694.
The Litro Gas company decided to reduce the prices of domestic gas cylinders aiming to give relief to its consumers based on structural cost reduction initiatives and efficient stock management amidst the global market prices of LP gas are observed in the upward trend gradually.
