The new State Minister of Youth Affairs Duminda Dissanayake who assumed duties this morning invited all Sri Lankan youth to come forward and join hands with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to create a meaningful change to satisfy country's needs.
Speaking to media after assuming duties, Minister Dissanayake said that several new proposals have already been prepared for the betterment of country’s youth and those proposals are scheduled to be implemented in the near future after discussing with relevant officials.
The religious observances to invoke blessings to the State Minister were conducted by the Maha Sangha lead by Ven Muruththettuwe Ananda Thero and Ven Prof Pathegama Gnanissara Thero. An Anushasana was delivered by Ven Dodampahala Rahula Thero.
