Lotteries to be Rs.40 from today

The price of lotteries sold by the Development Lottery Board and the National Lotteries Board will be increased by Rs.20 from today (6) and accordingly the price of a lottery ticket will be Rs 40.

With this price increase, the amount of prize money given to the winners who buy lottery tickets in the Development and National Lottery draws has been increased and the commission money given to the sales representatives has also been doubled, Board officials said.
