Suspect arrested with illicit liquor

Hirana Police arrested a person while he was mixing illicit liquor in a room of a rented house in Arukgoda, Panadura last Saturday night. A stock of goda in seven barrels, two gas stoves, two copper coils and several brewing equipment were seized, Police said. He was to be produced before the Panadura Magistrate on July 25, Police said.
