Statements recorded from Rev. Father Cyril Gamini Fernando - CID

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) yesterday informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court that they have recorded statements from Rev. Father Cyril Gamini Fernando regarding a complaint by National Intelligence Service Director Major General Suresh Sally.

The CID requested the Magistrate to give a date to report on the progress of the investigations into the incident.

After considering the request by the CID, the Magistrate instructed the CID to report the progress on the investigations through a motion.
