Advisory for Heavy Rain issued

An advisory for heavy rain was issued to several provinces, which is valid until January 5.

 

According to the advisory, "Under the influence of active Northeast monsoon condition, heavy showers above 100 mm can be expected in Uva province and in Batticaloa, Ampara,Matale, Polonnaruwa, Kaluthara, Rathnapura, Galle and Matara districts.."
