Madawa and Ahan excel for HNB and John Keells in semi finals

All rounder Madawa Warnapura performed well while former Royal skipper Ahan Wickramasinghe stroked an unbeaten knock of 102 as HNB and John Keells entered the final of the ongoing 29th Singer-MCA Super Premier League Knock-out Tournament fixtures played on Saturday.

HNB beat league winner CDB by two wickets at Thurstan ground while Warnapura the youngest son of late Sri Lanka skipper Bandula Warnapura made useful knock of 41 and captured 3 for 34 to steer them to victory.

MeanwhileJohn Keels beat MODE Engineering by 7 wickets at BRC, with Ahan Wickramasinghe scoring an unbeaten 102 runs in 95 balls with two boundaries and fve sixes guided them to victory.
