Major games which is part of the Ampara District Sports Festival will be in progress. The Ampara District Secretariat Sports Officer M.I.M.Ameer Ali has released the calendar of events which are as follows.
Cricket (Men)- June -25 and 26 at Public Playground, Addalaichenai, Palamunai.
Hockey (Men/Women) - June -18 at Public Playground, Karathivu.
Beach Volleyball (Men/Women) - June -19 at Addalaichenai Beach Ground.
Beach Kabaddy (Men/Women) - June -19 at Addalaichenai Beach Ground.
Karate DO (Men/Women)- July -09 at Presidential Sports Complex, Sammanthurai.
Football (Men/Women) - July -02 and03 at Public Play Ground, Addalaichenai.
Athletic (Men/Women) - July 30 and 31 at Public Play Ground, Addalaichenai.
Rugby (men and women divisions), Netball (Women), Volley ball (Men /
Women), Cricket (Women), Kabaddy (Men/Women) and Elle (Men/Women) have been completed.
