HNB Gami Pubuduwa Avurudu Pola showcase rural products

The annual Avurudu Pola 2017, organised by the Gami Pubuduwa micro finance programme of Hatton National Bank (HNB) held at BMICH from April 8 to 9. creating new sales and market opportunities for Sri Lankan micro entrepreneurs.

Turning a new leaf this year, HNB will bring thousands of Gami Pubuduwa entrepreneurs and their products to one place, rather than organizing several regional events concurrently.

HNB Avurudu Pola goes beyond the traditional pola or market concept as HNB actively engages in the process of creating new opportunities for these entrepreneurs in order to encourage them and offer them sustainable long term benefits.

Commenting on the success of the annual Avurudu Pola, Jude Fernando, Deputy General Manager, SME of Hatton National Bank said, “Over the last two decades, Gami Pubuduwa has empowered a large number of micro entrepreneurs of the country.
