Bus–lorry collision injures more than fifteen, including schoolchildren in Mundel

More than fifteen persons, including schoolchildren were injured during a bus-lorry collision in Mundel on the Puttalam - Colombo main road earlier today.

Mundel Police said that the injured were rushed to the Chilaw Hospital.

The accident occurred when the bus, carrying schoolchildren and parents to Rajankana from an educational trip to Colombo,  collided with a halted lorry.

Mundel Police is investigating.
