Five students injured in stray dog bite

Five students, attached to the Balapitiya Revatha National School, bitten by a stray dog which entered the Grade 2, 3 and 4 classes yesterday morning, were rushed with injuries to the Balapitiya hospital and given OPD treatment.

School Principal D. Sirinanda said he informed the PHI of the area about the incident and the dog was caught and tethered to a post in the school compound on his instructions awaiting further action.
