Man shot dead at Kariyamaditta

An individual was shot dead by a gunman at Kariyamaditta, earlier today.

The injured individual was rushed to the Ambilipitiya Hospital, but succumbed to injuries, the Police said.

The Police said that the gunman who had fled the scene has already been identified and an operation was on to arrest him.

Middeniya Police is investigating.
