Victor returns to composing tunes for films

Veteran musician Victor Ratnayake has composed the music for ‘Aadarai Man’, Prageeth S Ratnayake’s maiden movie. This is the first time he has composed the tunes for a movie in around 14 years. He has put all the songs in the film to melodies and has also rendered his vocals for the project.

Ratnayake has composed the music for a film for the first time in 1973 for Sathishchandra Edirisinghe’s ‘Mathara Aachchi’. Later he handed the music in films like ‘Rajagedara Paraviyo’, ‘Dushkarak Kriya’, ‘Haratha Hathara’, ‘Hulavali’, ‘Sayuru Thera’, ‘Sarungale’, ‘Siribo Aiya’, ‘Athuru Mithuru’ etc.
