Two arrested for failing to return vehicles

Two suspects those who had hired cars on lease and failed to return the vehicles in the due time were arrested by officers attached to the Special Crime Investigation Division attached to the Mirihana Police station last evening.

According to the Police Media Spokesperson’s office, the two suspects were arrested in the Athurugiriya area on a tip off. Three cars which were in the possession of the two suspects were seized by Police. The 37-year-old and 56-year-old suspects who are residents of Athurugiriya were to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate’s Courts.
