Rain forecast in EP today

Light showers may occur in the Eastern Province and showers or thunder showers may occur in a few places in the Ratnapura, Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 pm. Mainly fair weather will continue elsewhere.

Fairly strong gusty winds up to 40 kmph can be expected over the Western and Uva Provinces and in the Ampara, Puttalam, Kegalle and Hambantota districts.

Misty conditions can be expected in some places in the Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localised strong winds during thundershowers.
