Sarvodaya Development Finance wins silver at 54th Annual Report Awards

Being a leader of micro-finance in Sri Lanka, Sarvodaya Development Finance (SDF) bagged the silver award for the 2nd consecutive year for the category for Finance Companies and Leasing Companies (Total assets up to Rs.20 Billion) at the 54th Annual Report Award Ceremony organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka held on December 4, at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

The Annual Report Award is credible and exclusive recognition sort after by organizations across multiple industries. There were over 130 applications in 2018 which was reviewed for a period of 3 months with the involvement over 300 industry experts and professional business leaders. The commitment and healthy competition among key players of the industry to promote transparency, accountability and good governance through accurate presentation of financial statements was acknowledged by the Chief Guest, the Governor of Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, President of CA Sri Lanka, Jagath Perera and Chairman of the Annual Report Awards Committee, Heshana Kuruppu.
