Mannar Magistrate T.Saravanarajah yesterday announced that the US Laboratory’s Radiocarbon dating test report on bone samples from the Mannar mass grave will not be publicised until the Beta Analytic Institute produces the relevant report in court directly.
The Magistrate said he would not allow for the publication of the US laboratory’s Radiocarbon dating test report submitted by the Judicial Medical Officer until the official report is made available to the courts by US company
The Magistrate made this announcement when a case was taken up before the court yesterday through a motion filed by the relatives of missing persons in Mannar.
The Magistrate added that the report submitted by the JMO cannot be released, until the original report is made available to the courts.
