Speech and hearing centre opens

To mark World Hearing Day yesterday, Sri Lanka’s first digitally innovated speech and hearing centre affiliated to the Alexander Graham Bell association, USA, was inaugurated, with the assistance of the WISH foundation. The cenre offers free services for speech and language therapy for the hearing impaired. The centre also offers other fun-filled activities such as art and crafts, a reading corner, games, music and a technology centre for children. Picure by Sulochana Gamage.
