Lihan Tharuka of Herman Gminner School Kesbewa missed a well deserved century by three runs in their inter school under 19 cricket match against Sri Subuthi National School Battaramulla and Herman Gminner School beat them by innings and 52 runs.
Lihan hit twelve fours and three sixes and faced 71 balls and also he was associated in a seventh wicket partnership of 115 runs with Seneru Dilmith who scored 60 runs.
Batting first visitors were all out for 79 runs and in reply homesters declared at 303 for 9 and in their second essay visitors did much better to score 162 runs.
