The cultivators of Vellaveli in the Porathivu Pattu Secretariat Division were given fertilizer subsidies on Thursday (8).
This is the first time in Sri Lanka that the Maha Season cultivators are being given this subsidy. Under the instructions of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the cultivators were given necessary support even during the Coronavirus outbreak.
