Kanishka Dissanayake of St. Joseph’s Colombo scored the first century of the Under-15 inter schools Division One Cricket tournaments when they played against President’s College Maharagama which ended in a no decision due to rain at Bandaragama on Monday. .
Kanishka the right hander scored 126 runs in 139 balls with 13 boundaries and St Joseph’s made 384 for 8 wickets in 50 overs. When the rain halted the game President’s College were 4 for no loss in 1. 4 overs .
Meanwhile Devapathiraja defeated Sri Devananada Ambalangoda by three wickets in their game played in Ambalangoda while Sri Sumangala Panadura defeated Revatha MV Balapitiya by 9 wickets.
