Tamil National Alliance (TNA) leader R. Sampanthan said his party was not averse to any discussion on the vision and programme of the Government presented by the President.
“If the discussions between the TNA and the President are to discuss only the vision and programme of the Government presented by the President, the TNA will not be deceived and will not be disappointed by participating in such a discussion,” Sampanthan said. He was speaking to journalists recently.
Sampanthan also said that the party was not ready for any discussion if the topics were personal and only of interest to the President and the Government.
He also said an analysis of the vision and programme presented by the President recently showed it did not have any concrete measures to address the issues faced by the Tamil people.
