Sajith temporarily stops provision of buses to schools

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that the provision of buses to schools had to be temporarily stopped because the Socialist revolutionaries who set the buses on fire are complaining about his bus distribution programme.

He said this while joining a public meeting held in Morawewa. The opposition leader, who said that he has donated 70 buses worth Rs. 344 million to Government schools, said that the socialist revolutionaries are not able to stomach it.

While noting he is doing more work than what his father did when he was in the opposition Premadasa said that the people who set the buses on fire are the ones against this programme.
